Our Missionary Journey
June 6, 2012 will forever be etched in my memory. It was the day God replied to six years of prayer. A week later he revealed the same answer to Tiffany. His answer was one three-lettered word - YES.
Six years earlier we began praying about entering the mission field of Guatemala. Six years of annually returning to Guatemala, usually with teams in tow. Six years of yearning to be where God wanted us to be. And six years of falling deeper and deeper in love with the people of Guatemala.
Because He said yes, we are now headed there to do His will. And we couldn't be more elated, thankful, and blessed. More specifically, we're heading to the little town of Monjas, Jalapa, to become Co-Directors of James Project of Latin America. The project currently includes three parts; Shadow of His Wings Orphanage, Liberty Christian School, and Widows of Purple Weaving Ministry. The project has plans (in God' timing and will) to add a university, medical clinic, and baby's home.
Our projected timeframe for moving is completely in God's hands. Our wish is sooner rather than later. We must raise support before we can go and are praying for donors who love us, love kids, love Jesus or any/all of the above to generously give to our mission.
This is a very exciting time in our lives and we would love for you to be a part of this Great Adventure!
