In 2010, Jack traveled with Tiffany and Bryon Applegate to James Project of Latin America, in Monjas, Guatemala. He had no idea how much this trip would change his life. God broke his heart for the widows and orphans of Guatemala. The trip ignited a passion and a vision for the Applegate's that led them to start 1:27 Missions Project. In doing so, they asked Jack to join them in making ministry a reality. Since then Jack has served on seven mission trips to JPLA in Guatemala.
Jack has worked for RiceSelect for over 25 years, and he currently travels the US and Canada as their Business Development Director. He lives in Nixa, MO with his wife, Sandy, and together they have five children.

Roseanne's daugher, Mollie, served at James Project of
Latin America, first as a nurse intern and later as a nurse. Roseanne
and her husband, Kurt, visited while Mollie was at JPLA and found out
how special this place is - the organization supporting the orphanage,
the Guatemalan house parents, the town of Monjas, and especially the
heart of the Applegates. And even more especially, the kids! Roseanne
joyfully desires to be a part of helping orphans and widows through the
1:27 Missions Project organization. Roseanne teaches mathematics at

of women and children beyond the borders of home. Visiting the JPLA
school and educational opportunities, the love of the Guatemalan house
parents, the heart of the Applegate's and their desire to minister to
the oprhans and widows of Guatemala, all led Lisa to become more
involved with 1:27 Missions Project.
